I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience with Tata AIA and Policybazar regarding a term insurance policy. My initial inquiry was handled by Policybazar agent Priyanka(and Vikas Gupta was also involved). While Priyanka was initially helpful and responsive before I paid my initial premium, her demeanor changed drastically immediately after payment. She blocked my phone number, leaving me unable to contact her.
When I finally managed to reach her through other channels, Priyanka disclaimed any responsibility for refund issues should I choose to cancel the policy. This lack of accountability and disregard for customer service is unacceptable.
My concern stems from the fact that my initial premium payment was for a policy that was ultimately rejected due to a failed medical examination. While I understand that policies can be declined, I have been waiting for my refund for two months. I was under the impression that this refund would be processed automatically.
This experience has raised serious doubts about the integrity of both Tata AIA and Policybazar. If obtaining a simple refund is this difficult, I am deeply concerned about the potential challenges my family might face when making a death claim. I do not recommend anyone risk being cheated by Tata AIA and Policybazar. They appear unwilling to return premium refunds for initial applications, even when a policy request is rejected for any reason.
I request immediate attention to this matter and a prompt resolution regarding my refund. I also wish to formally complain about the conduct of Policybazar agent Priyanka, Tata AIA agent 004967389, and Vishal Gupta(BPW47751). Their actions appear unprofessional and potentially deceptive.
I expect a full refund of my initial premium and a formal response to this complaint outlining the steps you will take to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
