The user interface and IT platform is very buggy. Examples of this are
1) fund switch request transactions fail on screen with an error message but an email is sent confirming the switch did actually take place
2) soma pages crash with no explanation and reloading kicks you out of what you were doing
Scenrios like this will require you to spend time with customer support which for someone who values their own time is a waste.
In short
1) no new policies with Tata aia
2) no investment above the bare minimum needed for my endowment
3) I’m certain their claims settlement is fine being a Tata group company. However most people buying an endowment policy are investors and a buggy IT interface is a killer deficiency
