I took up the TATA AIG motor insurance for my car. Right from the very begining it has been a terrible experience. The policy papers were sent after 6 months of taking the policy. This was also after calling the customer care people for around 10 times. The policy papers had incorrect car details - the chasis number and the engine number was of a different car and not mine. I have been in touch with the customer care people, escalated the matters to the managers and still the matter is not resolved till date (after 9 months). I have asked them to return my money back and they have not replied. The entire organization is un-professional and just exposes the toll free number and a customer care email id (no replies are received from the email id).
I had a tough time with these people and have found that everything is falling in deaf ears. I want people to be aware of such cases. These people must give a far more terrible time while working for claims.
Donot go for TATA AIG motor insurance policy.
