Yeah. I should not be using such words for a trusted company like TATA. I bought TAT AIG policy for my Maruti Swift in Feb 2009.
However now I am really annoyed as these guys do not have a tie-up with any of the Maruti dealers and this was not conveyed to me at the time of purchase of the policy.
Also I am informed by my Maruti Dealer (Laxmi Cars, Thane) that every major player like Bajaj Allianz, ICICI etc. have a tie-up with them for cashles claims. I am not aware if TATA AIG has any tie-ups with rest of the brands dealers.
Cashless in this context means that I just need to deposit Rs. 500/= initially in case of any accident and then finally I just need to pay for depreciation etc. at the time of delivery of the repaired vehicle.
Now TATA AIG has created its own tie-ups with local garages which are not very reputed and are not even known to most of us, Moreover some of these garages do not even have a landline number! Look at the stupidity of tie-ups. Now thats how these guys want to run their business. I am plain surprised and amused at this.
Normally I would not want anyone apart from the dealer to get my car repaired in case of any major accidents. Now I have to call their CSR and ask for the details of the garage with which these guys have a tie-up. The website does not have the latest garage list. And all this talk of Customer Satisfaction. Bullshit Man!
I would surely buy the Bajaj-Allianz policy again and I am recommending TATA AIG only in case you get the policy at 1/4th the cost of what others have to offer! At this moment, I am really feeling cheated.
