After reading reviews about TATA AIG Health Plus group insurance and my own realization that I would not be needing the product as I am not very good at making insurance claims and following it up and also that I was keeping good health (touch wood) and did not see a major risk to it, I decided to claim a refund because I was in the 14 day free look-in period. I had to do a little work with the agent on the phone as he was not very willing to close my policy and wanted me to continue and offered some free insurance carrots (like please take this policy free of charge etc) I was straight with him in saying that I am not interested in any of them and that a refund would make life easy for both of us. He got the point pretty quickly just a few mins and he promptly gave me a confirmation number for the cancellation. I did not get the refund within the promised 7 working days criteria but did get it in 14 working days and I am not complaining.
I thought I would write my experience here as I notice that only people with a bitter experience vent their frustration here and so the site provides a one sided opinion/view of TATA AIG.
