I recently purchased a Tata AIG Health Insurance policy, and my experience was far from satisfactory. The policy I had purchased seemed to be quite comprehensive, but the service and customer care I received was incredibly lacking.
When I first purchased the policy, I was given a customer service representative who was far from friendly. He was slow and unresponsive to my questions and inquiries, and I never felt like he was really listening to me. I understand that customer service representatives are often very busy, but I felt like my inquiries were being ignored.
After purchasing the policy, I was informed that the coverage was not as comprehensive as I had expected. A few of the benefits that were listed on the website were not actually included in the policy. This was incredibly frustrating, as I had made a purchase based on the information that I had been provided.
The process of filing a claim was also very tedious and time consuming. I had to provide a lot of paperwork and documentation, and it took a long time for the claim to be processed and approved. The customer service representative was not very helpful in this process, and the whole thing felt like a waste of my time.
I also experienced a lot of delays when it came to receiving payments for my claims.
