I bought the Tata Aig life insurance in 2010 policy number UI69100906 . The policy was sold to me saying 5 year policy in which I have to pay for 3 year and can get back my money after 5 year . But when I got the policy I saw it was 24 year policy I called there call center 1800119966 to confirm about getting back my money after 5 year they confirmed me the same that I will get back money with interest without any deduction . After 5 year when I applied for refund I came to know that the my first installment is the commission for the agent so my disinvestment value will be calculated minus the first installment. This information was not given to me neither by the agent nor by the customer care. Due which I did not avail the facility of opting out the policy within 15 days.
I wrote many complain to the company so the commission of the agent should be adjusted with my account as it was wrong selling no action was taken. Finally I have to bear the lose. I deposited Rs 75000 and got Rs 60000.
