All set to wave Goodbye to all consumers that is... two days ago I called Tata to sign-up for their so-called Wireless Landline. At first they took all my information i.e. address etc. The representative explained that it will take 2 days for the executive to come and collect the paper. Remember, she did take my address. So, 2 days later I receive an automated phone call from Tata explaining the fact that their service isn’t available in “My Area”. Bada Bing!
Ok, let me first explain that the “Wireless Landline” is like a CDMA mobile phone. So how come their service is not available in my Area, which is a very prominent business area called “Grant Road”. People who own this service carry the phone from one end of the town to another. This certainly explains the inefficiency of their service. Also, the representative could have easily mentioned that when I passed on my residential address. Well, this has certainly convinced me to move to Reliance as a last option (Which by-the-way is no better). I have to move to Wireless landline due to our Honored MTNL completely draining my finances even after no usage.
Sigh! When will they grow up!!! Best of luck to all of us!
