I booked a tata indicom walky postpaid connection. The tata people came and installed a new walky in my home. It started to work. My wife called me twice at my office and I was happy. After 2 hrs, the connection went off. I called 121 their customer care. They told I had a balance of Rs5800/- against my name. How can 2 calls cost so much.? I went to their office and came to know that a person having a same name as that of mine and living in the same area had a balance of Rs5800/-. He was missing for past 1 yr.
So these foolish, basd tataindicom people put the amt against my name. They told u have been blacklisted. I wondered what was my mistake. I asked, if I had a balance to pay whay did they allot me a new connection ? while booking tataindicom take 2 photos and pan no. I asked the panno and photo of the person who had balance. they refused to show it.
I told that there are many people with a same name in a given area and how can u charge me. They said we dont care for that. U have the same name and live in same area. My area (hadapsar in pune) is spread over more that 20sq. kms.
The customer care is very worst and speak bad langusges. They send some people (goon type people) to me house to get the balance. I then threatned to go to consumer court. Once I did that they restored my connection. Now after 2 yrs of use the customer calls and says u have been a good customer and we want to offer u a internet connection. How can a defaulter become a good customer now ???????
