It was a hell, when I joined this company although I already had an offer from a small company on a better package. I followed the brand name and today I am cursing myself for the two years I lost working here with veneration. When it came of rating the supervisor and reviewer gave good rating to people from their state who worked nothing.
The politics in this company is very bad. The superiors plan your rating in advance based on your race and face. And HRs are dead one who wont listen anything until the employee is in the negative role. You cant raise your voice.
There are lots of reason you will get D band in tcs and The No. 1 reason in Mumbai is:- You are a Non Marathi and you supervisor is Marathi then be sure that he will always emphasize your mistakes although it is nothing and finally give you a D band.
If you want a good band then you need to lick his dick.or you should have very good rapport with the PL to 5. This is what is happening in TCS.
Here if your supervisor dont like your race or face or anything else, then he has many ways to let you down.
He will assign you crap of work to show you useless.
He will emphasize your mistakes that will be certainly there as you are working, and compare to that guy who dont work at all and dont have any mistakes to do.
Allow you the leave but when you are in your home will open the works dependent on you to show that due to your absence the loss occurred.
Give you silly works while good works to others and try to frustrate you.
At last I will say that if they are not able to maintain the things then government should ban these companies. There are lots of companies based in US and other countries who do their work in a better way. These top Indian IT companies are killing India
