Working in TCE

No tools are provided to the people who want to perform. There are not enough laptops, printers scanners etc. for one print you have to go the other floors.

The people who are incompetent are sitting on the top and do not let the good people to join the organisation since it will prove their redundancy.

Performance is not judged properly, if you are a favourite of your boss and praise to him all the time you have a good chance of getting promotions but even if you are rated as excellent you are not going to get more than 15% increment so buttering is also a waste of time. Salary increment is worst here and there is no transparency in promotions.

Company is full of politics all the GMs are playing politics and do not have the competency to face the client. They will keep you engaged in a project till the time they can exploit you knowledge and when the time comes to take the credit they will corner you and present themselves as the main cause behind the success. There is no team work within the organisation all the seniors are in opposition to each other due to which the client suffers. The blame game is very common scene in this organisation. The same client does not want to give the next job to TCE what to tell about others the TATA steel also does not want to give the job to TCE. Such a shame.

HR is the worst in this company they never think for the employees. This is the worst HR functioning I have seen in my whole career. If you resign from this company they will harass you for three months by either delaying your salary or not giving you experience certificate and many other ways. I am happy that I left this company.

If you are here to build your career then forget it as there are no seniors to guide you there are either 40yrs experience people who thinks talking to the trainees is a sin or there are 40 day experience people. so even after 5 years of experience your knowledge is equivalent to 1 year experience at TCE.

Advice to Senior Management:

I dont think Management listens anything there is a culture that the whistle blowers are made to leave the organisation. So there is need of telling them to learn from the other competitors how they function. TCE is still stuck to old fashioned management style and worst is they dont want to learn the new ways also. They should at least search for the reasons why more than 50% of employees have left the employee! Otherwise they are going to be doomed.
