I have lost 2000rs in a month after taking a post paid connection from TATA DOCOMO as we had promotional stalls in our office.After taking the connection I realized that there is no network in the office premises where they have a stall.
My struggle with their customer care started when I deiced to cancel the connection.i am running behind them for past 1 month to cancel the number, They said it takes 2 days to bar out going 7 days to bar incoming and 15 days to cancel the number. One month over nothing happened yet and I am getting bills to pay 1050 rs and I had hardly used the number for 10 calls. I have given alternative number and not using the sim at all.but still I am getting so many calls to pay the amount which I have not even used.
First time I contacted their customer care: they said that I told them to continue the network. They never called me and normally I spend 9 hours in office when There is no network why would I stay with the network.
second time: their retaining department called me and I said I dont want to continue, but their customer care people says i have not given verbal confirmation for cancellation.
Now they says they will start process from the scratch and it will take 15 days to terminate and I need to pay 1/2 month bill amount as a settlement amount.
This is too bad and I am using many networks from past 13 yrs and I never faced such issues with any network.
When I visit their head office(KORMANGLA, BANGALORe) there will be a big QUEUE and you need to wait minimum of 4-5 hours on working days /Saturdays( most of the software people have only 2 days to settle such things-weekends) .This will tell how many people are suffering with this network.
SO BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU TRY TO TAKE A NEW CONNECTION OF TATA DOCOMO.DONT DARE TO TAKE A CONNECTION AS YOU END UP IN TROUBLE.
