Worst mobile operator on the planet- Tata Docomo

Organised fraud Tata Docomo –Mobile Phone services. Let me tell all readers not to go for TATA Docomo mobile phone services gsm or cdma ever. The entire organisation is a BIG sham. Actually it is not a mobile operator but an advertising and marketing company cheating customtakeouters using the TATA name. There could not be a worse mobile phone services company on this earth ever. In fact my advice is it should wind up its business of mobile telephony and get into Advertising which seems to be its core activity. Getting top stars to endorse, tv and full page newspapers and putting banners is all that this company can do good.


I took a post pay connection on 29th November, 2011. I was made to fill a form and given a SIM and told the same would be activated the next day.


The next day I found out the number was not this and somebody else number. The executive was not contactable at all. For next 10 days after 20 calls to customtakeouter care and finally getting through to speak to nodal officer the executive surfaced and gave me the SIM on 14th Dec 2011. Nodal officer told me that this would be adjusted. Who will adjust it he did not know and for this I should contact the customtakeouter care post bill generation.


The company meanwhile started billing from November 30th the period I have not used the services at all. The paper bill never arrived . An sms told me to pay . When I contacted the customtakeouter care . I was told to write to listen@tatadocomo.com . I wrote to listen they directed me to customtakeouter Care.


customtakeouter care directed me to go to retail store 20 kms from my home.


There is no link between each set up . It is like dealing with four different companies.


The billing department started calling me to pay. They have no connection with either listen@tatadocomo.com or customtakeouter care .


Anyway I paid the bill under protest as a docile Indian with using the service for 3 days only.


Now the network connectivity. They have the worse network connectivity in India. They have not any investment in towers and have rolled out services


.I could make calls after coming outside from my home and walking 500 metres . At my home no incoming call would come.As the signal strength was low .


Imagine they have put banners all over my area( RT nagar Bangalore) saying they have the best network connectivity in RT Nagar and We call politicians cheats.


I checked with other people they told me tata docomo has always had issue in this area.


I called up customtakeouter care and asked for disconnecting my mobile services.


I was told first my phone had a problem. I have a dual SIM phone the other SIM of Aircel worked fine with full signal strength.


Then I was told somebody will visit my home to check the connectivity.


Nobody came for a month.


Since I had paid late as no postal bill came to me. The outgoing calls were barred on this number.


But the rental continued. I must have written 15 mails and 20 calls asking them to disconnect my services.


I have told my problem to 15-20 people every time after listening to the problem. They have no solution. The quality of personnel kept is pathetic.


They have worst customtakeouter care executives not empowered to solve any problem. The entire organisation has passing the buck culture.


Direct customtakeouter to customtakeouter Care /E-mail/Retail Store .


Not a single touch point is accountable for anything.


I had to tell my grievance every time to these rude executives who were interested in disconnecting the phone after listening to the grievance.


I wrote to the Appellate officer –Sunitha George of Karnataka . The appellate officer did not respond for 15 days still except a auto generated mail. if appellate officer has no time for customtakeouters you can imagine the customtakeouter care.


But they would not disconnect until I pay another bill. Bill without using services.


I paid again on 25th jan 2012. Is this not fraud?


They take 14 days to disconnect the phone . What a joke?


I have just been called and told that services have been disconnected.


Good riddance finally. Relieved. I got the bill today generated on 17th January on 31st by speed net couriers Bangalore. Very efficient. All in all a shameless organisation a organised fraud being perpetuated on customtakeouters taking cover under the TATA brand name. My faith is BSNL and reliance has gone up which I thought was the worst.


No you have TATA Docomo to set new standards in inefficiency in mobile services.
