Hello friends,
Today I am going to share my personal experience for Tata Hexa so that you can make a purchase decision
Leg room for front seats is ample and very spacious. You can extend your legs fully and still you would have a lot of room. The seats are extra cushioned and comfortable. There is enough support for your back and thighs which makes long distance rides comfortable. Coming to middle row and rear row seats, the leg room is not enough and you are cramped for space. Headroom in the last row isnt great either and a 6-foot person will find it hard to sit in the last row
Tata is always good at dealing with customer problems and grievances. The after-sales support is very good for this car as this is one of their premium range cars.
Tata claims a mileage of 17 Kmpl but you can expect 11-13 Kmpl in city traffic and 14-15 in highway rides. Tata cars are always reliable. The only engine downside is this car is provided with just one engine in 6-speed automatic and 6-speed manual variants and there is not much to choose for buyers. Till, 2000 rpm in manual version, the car feels so lethargic and above 3500 rpm, it will get noisy with slight vibrations. 2000-3500 rpm is the sweet spot
While it is based on Tata Aria, it definitely looks more bold, taller and super cool.
My final verdict is, you could be better off buying the tried and tested Mahindra XUV500 or the new Innova Crysta, which is priced almost near Hexa but offer far better performance and comfort
