I have purchased a TATA Indica DLS in the month of July 2008. From the date of purchase the windscreen Wiper does not work, the front left type was fitted wronglt inside out due to which the vehicle was moving towards left on its own and now thehe is heavy water leakage inside the car from the AC. Also to let you know that while taking delivery the car was run 113kms, when I asked why so much running has been I was told that it was for trial run. Trial run of more than 100 kms is surprising.
I think I have got a vehicle which was being used as a Demo vehicle. With so many problems I feel I have purchased a second hand car from BU Bhandari for the price of new. The above said problems were fixed by the service after after two visits.
Then I took my car to the service centre to rectify a Blocked Silencer Pipe problem. The Silencer Pipe was blocked and the vehicle was not accelerating. This was rectified by your service person. When asked for the cause of this blockage I was told that it was due to impure diesel being filled in the vehicle.
Please let me know how do I check if the diesel is impure or not. Also is this a regular practise with Tata vehicles that the diesel needs to be checked for purity every time the vehicle is refueled, then I do not understand the purpose of all the filters that are fitted in the vehicle.
Today, not even a month after coming back from the service centre the problem has started again. I am hearing various noises from the silencer everytime I accelerate. The Silencer is starting to block again. I am fed up of visiting the service centre twice every month.
I think it is better to keep the car with the service center permanantly so that they can keep on servicing the vehicle.
I feel completely cheated by TATA motors and BU Bhandari
Caution Please do not to go for BU Bhandari, for TATA vehicles. Actually please do not go for TATA vehicles.
