Bought Tata indica V2 DLG in Oct 2005. I asked the dealer before buying if there is any new model coming up (turbo or CRDi). they responded in negative. And you see, as soon as I bought, within two weeks, turbo model was out. I wanted to buy a turbo and wrote to Tata Motors as well. but no response. Dealer is also very shabby and tries to hide things. average service from dealer. had to ask for everything. They promised that the car had some fuel, but I couldn’t even get my car to the gas pump (8 kms away) and had to call the dealer’s helpline many times and they appeared after an hour and then only I could get to home.
As my first diesel car, I feel it’s a very good car because of low running cost. But it is not very comfortable. I even got some cushion pads even then, it gives me backpain.
Feel sorry that couldn’t buy Turbo. Tata should at least give info in the market that they are going to launch turbo so that whoever wants to buy it can do that.
