For New year I planned to buy a NEW CAR with the budget of around 3Lakhs. My options with this budget were only three cars - INDICA, ALTO and SANTRO. I took the test drive of these three.
Alto:
It was really small and compact( My height is 5’11).
Budget and economy wise its really good.
Driving comfort is good and simple.
Santro:
Little Spacious than Alto.
Budget and economy wise its O.K.
Driving comfort is very good.
Here comes my choice.
INDICA:
Driving comfort: excellent
Space inside: Very big, comfortable for all 5 seats. Especially for driver.
Mileage: O.K(11 - 12 in Pune City 14- 15 on Highways).
Interiors: excellent(with the budget of 3L)
Dealer satisfaction: poor
This comes in three variants: GLX, GLG and GLS.
GLS comes with Power steering, A/C, body coloured bumpers, radial tyres, adjustable driving seat(You can sleep almost on flat seat when get tired).
Its been more than 3 months Iam driving this car regularly(over 3k kms done till now). I feel happy to start the car everyday.
