I have been a hardcore TATA user, considering the fact that. I drove a TATA Sierra for 5 years, in spite of all the negative comments and discouragements.
However my experience with my 2nd TATA vehicle has completely shattered my faith on TATA vehicles. I brought the Indica V2 Turbo, DLG model from Vivek Automobile in New Delhi in August 2008.
Just by grace of god, I also purchased an extended warranty of the car, otherwise I would have been poorer by some 40/50 k by now. Immediately after buying the vehicle, the internal antenna was found to be faulty and Vivek Auto did not had a spare, so I had to get it from another TATA dealer after much hassle.
The next casualty was the clutch, 1st and 2nd gear started getting locked on the move. Whenever I took the vehicle for this problem, the service centre guy used to do some adjustment in the clutch wire and set it, without even listening to my problem that it is occurring even after such adjustment.
Frustrated, I had a big fight with A One Motors one day, after which they admitted that there is a problem in the clutch which was replaced; 4 months after the vehicle was purchased. Then came the AC Clutch, which was faulty and hence the wiring got damaged. It was replaced along with the total wiring harness of the vehicle.
After that, the radiator fan intermittently stopped working, because of blown up fuses, I dont know how many times fuses blow up in a car In between, the car developed a problem that after the engine starts, all the accessories stop functioning including the head lamp and after keeping the vehicle stopped for some time and again restarting the vehicle, everything becomes normal
