I had almost booked Alto when one of my friends suggested me to have a look at Xeta. Not wanting to disappoint him I read some of the reviews here in mouthshut and was quite surprised with the interest it generated in me. However I was wary of the reviews on the Tata Dealers. So I went to Malik Cars with very less expectation. To my surprise they treated me very well and provided me all the details of the Car. The next day when I did a test Drive of Xeta GLS Alto had already become a thing of the Past. Also since I booked this Car on March (Year end) I got a hefty discount of 26, 000 Rs on already cheap Tata Indica Xeta GLS.
So my onroad cost came to 3.12 Lakhs (Hyderabad). I did have few problems in the Car after delivery (Like Air lock in Petrol Tank) however it was sorted out soon by the workshop with personal involvement of the Manager in the Workshop.The pick of the Car though has been my concern, especially with the AC on it doesn’t feel like 1200 CC. But for the kind of Fuel effeciency (14KMPL on City roads) I have to live with it. Ever since I have recommended Xeta to almost every friend of mine who wishes to go for a small car.
