I am a proud owner of my Indica Xeta. My Car is only 3 Years old. Believe me, I am glad to have got Indica instead of any Maruti or Chevy or anyhting for that matter.
Firstly let me acknowledge, there must be some readers of this revu who themselves must have written some revus on this product. Some good some bad. I have read many of them and I am typing in only to put accross a clear picture about this product to everyone, whoever desires for this car.
I will not get into Technicalities as I never did at the time of buying My Car, I know NO ONE does actually study the stats before buying. Its experience(Yours personal or someone elses) that you learn from.

Let me please tell you some pre-requisites -
When buying the car, please choose a Very Recommended Outlet / Dealer for buying the Vehicle from. Or Choose the Service Center very Carefully, the one which the most trusted one.
Always remember, we live in INDIA. Anyone can fool you(specifically) so pls neva generalise your opinion.
Always discuss your problems withsomeone who owns an Indica and also from the Other Vehicle owners.

Its a good car with a huge space inside for you. If you are keen on being comfortable on the inside and care to bother about the Gear next to your left knee(As in any small Maruti).
I had taken My Indica to Aurangabad, It served me absolutely properly. It was rough & tough when it required to be at the same time; It was very much a small car for me to skip into small roads(Gullis).
It Truly is a Big-Small Car!
There is nothing in any other car; that would be missing from Indica(Only if you compare Apples-to-Apples and not Apples-to-Oranges). I hope you get what I mean.

My Story -
The service center guys are all the same, I owned a Maruti 800 before, Its still my Fav Car. As I still remember taking my Girlfriend out on a drive in it. And sheer driving ease, so much so that, I never cared it as a 4 Wheeler vehicle, I actually used to Judge the driving space for it could be enough as required by any Three Wheeler! Every 800 still reminds me about those lovely days and my dates. But as time passed by, I grew Up, now my legs just wont fit in a 800!
The Maruti Service Center people have also given me some bitter experiences and TATA has also done the same. But; you need to tackle them very sharply. Plus never trust on thier Deliverance. Test your Car Yourself. And then only Sign on their Job Card!
I Urge everyone the same.

What I would like to share is, the time, When you have worn out the Service and still use it daily.
Any car runs smooth, when maintained to the limit. But the Limit with Indica is very less for you to reach to. Maruti has got a very bad Impression about, once visiting the Garage and always staying out there(or at least every now and then - and then Maruti owners tell me "Oye Its just Ware&Tear yaar!"). Its not the same with Indica. Trust me.
I agree to some of the complains like - Vibrations, Noisy-ness. But hey, dont forget Your Car is also equipped with huge carrying capacity. I really appreciate Santro for that matter, Santro is one car I really think can be the least sound creating(exclude the music system). Maruti has a peculiar problem about creating noise from an unknown dimension in the world and when a Mechanic / Service center inspectors checks it, They all land upon figitting with the Engine. And then again all the screw ups start all over again.
Indica - Just requires some nuts to be Tightened, that too, after you have driven it like a truck for atleast 3 months after you first heared that noise! I dont know why people never mentioned this point anywhere in their Revus.

Some one had mentioned about Water Ingress Problem - I shared the same. My Watchman had accidentally spilled entire bucket near my Clutch whilst cleaning it. All he did was - Take out the Rubber Mats, unscrew the lower drain screw. But he forgot to put it back and covered it with the Mats again. During Rainy season, my car used to fill up everytime it rained, not only when it rained, Also at Every Pot-Hole(Thanks to Mumbai Road Developers who are still sleeping over those Pot Holes for Years and Years to come). I address the problem to the Service Center guys, Those guys provided me the entirely New rubber piping arround the doors, for proper locking.
(Obviously I fought for it; Remember: THIS IS INDIA! WE MAY GET FOOLED / SOME ONE MAY TRY TO FOOL US)
I later discussed the same problem with my Watchman - Very Unlikely for me to do(or for anyone). I asked him very courteously about his advise. He was no Mechanic / Engineer / even Indian I guess.
But I always try to get some foolish intakes before entering a thought through solution. I just find it lucky! And believe me - some of the nuskaas & Totkas have actually helped me. My watchmen bought MY Plastic-rubber screw in front of me and very smartly advised me to observe / check it once he had put it back in place. No such problem ever occured again.

I would really never recommend any thing to anyone when asked personally, But on MS its different. And for TATA Indica - I do recommend it to you. Its a great Car. And if you cant or dont know how to keep your car, then you might as well buy any - I would be reading all the Negitives about that Product in your Revus!

P.S.: However I advise you to please follow your heart when buying and Love your Car.
Some of the best Tips I have ever seen anyone giving
Tyre pressure: Front wheels 32 and rear Wheels 30
Petrol: I have faith in Bharat Petroleum and always go with normal Petrol.
Vehicle is heavy hence never try to become F1 driver means no hard pressing of Acc padel
Switch off AC while overtaking
PETROL TYPE and PETROL CO. IS VERY IMPORTANT!
