Good car for city as well as highway driving

First thing first I am getting a mileage of about 12.25 kmpl in Bangalore (AC on 20%). The performance of the car is fantastic, this is the car giving maximum torque that too at 2600 rpm, this results in two benefits,

  1. Comfort of driving, gear shifting is less even in very heavy traffic.

  2. Fuel consumption is less even in city as most of the time a low rpm will give sufficient torque to keep the vehicle moving in dense traffic. (low engine rpm for fixed load means lower consumption of fuel). Santro gives maximum torque at 3000 rpm and for wagonR it is at 3600 rpm, and torque of these cars is quite lower than that of XETA.

Now the other +ves of the vehicle

  1. Space

  2. Comfort of seating, leg space, five can sit in the back seat comfortably.

  3. Suspension (its really good)

  4. Doors opening close to 90 degrees.

  5. View for driver

  6. Interior are light in color, which keeps inside full of light, which I like.

Some -ves

  1. Colors are good but not much of choice.

The points that I like

  1. The shape of the car (it is most aerodynamic in the class)

  2. The accessories like remote petrol lid control, remote side mirror adj., reset able kilometer readers. In other cars you need to pay for these where as it is included in basic cost in all Tata cars.

till now I have done 1200 km, I have gone upto 90 kmph and there was no vibration or extra sound from engine. the milage which I got in the beginning was about 8kmpl now it has reached more than 12. and hope to get more than 13 after first service.
