Though I m a doctor, I m fond of long drives. I drove my car from agra to many places- nainitaal, mussorie, badrinath, auly, manali, even kashmir( srinagar, amarnath), jaipur, delhi , luchnow, punjab, harayana, himachal and that too many times.
By my 3 year experience, I can say Indica Xeta is a GREAT, NO PROBLEM CAR, tough like a SUV, no problem till now in engine, gear box or clutch, suspension(though I drove it even on worst road). Good AC, good space, good balance even at high speed.
This car can reach a top speed of 155km/hr(chauk gaye na). No other car in its segment(SANTRO , WAGON R) can reach to this speed.
Average depends on driving condition, with best average of 22km/l of PETROL(ITS NOT A DIESEL CAR) at speed of 50- 60km/h(which is the speed at which petrol cars gives best average) on low traffic highway without ac. But generally mileage of 15km/l is given with ac on in normal driving condition.
Only few points r against it- small jobs were not paid attention like door locks, window knobs, etc. Acceleration is a bit slower than its competitors santro, wagon r( just because it is a >100kg heavier, which also gives it more stability at high speed and while braking), but top speed is best in class.
Cheapest in its segment, with best features. In agra I bought it at ex showroom price of 2.8 lakh of power stearing model GLS(tax n insurance xtra).at that time wagan r n santro was costing 50000more than it.
my final VERDICT- GREAT HIGHWAY CAR, CHAEP, SPACIOUS, PROBLEM FREE.
