I am 65, I have been using cars for over 30 yrs. Starting from willys jeep (1965) to Santro (2006). In early 2007 I was looking for a car which should be "value for money" for me. I read about Indica Xeta. I perused the reviews put on Mouth shut, after a thorough study I approached the Manipal motors, in Bangalore got a test drive of the vehicle. I found the car was in line with the user views and was satisfying. On 21-02-07 I bought a new Xeta indica 1.2 A.Blue .
I have driven about 500 kms so far AC on, mixed driving ie. Highway and city, speed ranging from 80 to 110 kms My experience: Very spacious, comfortable, very many features, smooth driving experience. It gave me a milage of 12.5 kms. A good vehicle, I recommend for middle aged persons.My experience with the dealer : The sales person was very sweet till I took delevery of the car. Immediately thereafter may be within 30 minutes, there was enquiry about the comfort of the car. that is the end.
To collect the documents I had to run up to the dealers at least half a dozen time.There were errors in the documents ( perhaps no application of mind while preparing the documents of course got corrected subsequently). No response to my mail to them.Advice: TATA indica Xeta is good value for money car. but while buying look for the responsible dealer.
