I bought Indica Vista Quadrajet Aura - marine silver(light bluish color) on april 8 2009
I had checked various reviews and forum views about various **hatchbacks like i10, swift, Indica Vista saffire, Indica vista Quadrajet , A-star, WagonR, Santro, Spark, Alto** etc
I ruled out Alto, A-star for Rear space comfort. As these cars having less rear seat space. Spark is out, mainly due to few service centers .I ruled out i10 as I found it is overpriced for the features it offered. Swift- good car, as my DAD own one(petrol car), I thought of buying different car.
* There was little **confusion over Petrol or Diesel car.** As every one suggested go for Diesel car only if you have monthly running kms of min 1000KM. Actually, I will be using the car mostly for Highway, for going to native >150 km journey on weekend.
Though I may take out the car less frequently now, but once we get used to it, we may take it frequently later. **This made me to go for Diesel car** (considering future -more travel in car )
* WagonR is out, b’coz it is not good for Highway driving when compared to Indica Vista.
Santro is out, due to its bumpy rides. **Vista has better suspension.
**I asked my friends who are having TATA cars, they said, **after Indica V2, tata cars are very good, and gives less maintenance, and their technology got improved.**
* After driving the Vista Demo car, my mind always said, go for Vista. I like the rear seat space and **Vista is having Sedan space in a hatchback**.
Finally, I compared Swift Diesel and Vista Quadrajet, as both are having same fiat diesel engine. If budget is a problem, you can buy **Vista Tdi - very VFM car**. Else, you can buy **Vista Quadrajet Aura -VFM car.

* Suspension is good in vista .
* Vista is more spacious than Swift
* Vista has foldable rear seats, adjustable steering, rear wash wiper, etc

**Indica Vista is lengthier than other hatchbacks**. And, Vista suspension is better than other hatchbacks.
