Buy a Nightmare at your own expense!!!

I have a regret that I havent read this reviews about Tata Indicom in Mouthshut before taking the connection.I took an Infinity 128 connection from them before 2 months.i paid 3126 /- in advance for 4 months For giving the connection, they took 16 days.(After threatening the guy who promised me connection).You can give a cheque because its the safer way.And do not pay in advance as I did.Because they will not refund it if you have any problem in between.


For one month everything was perfect as a honeymoon time. I was getting 10-12 kb/s without a download acclerator. And surprisingly no connectivity issues (Normally I use to browse at night only).After 1 month I lost connection all of a sudden.I called the customer care.They registered a complaint and gave me a reference number.One technical support personnel came to my home and started trouble shooting. He couldnt find out anything.but my ADSL light was blinking. So after 1 day he concluded that its a server problem and added that it will be solved withing 1 day.


I waited for 4 days.Nothing happened.After that I tried to call that person.His mobile is switched off-the usual story.I called to customer care again.To my suprise they said that the status of the complaint was closed as the field tech support gave a report that the issue was solved.I opened another complaint this time.No news for the next 3 days.I called customer care again.Then they send the same stupid guy.i was not at home.My owner opened the door for him.He did something and went back(as told by the owner).I called  customer care.They said that the issue has been resolved by saying that my system is not booting


I was really shocked to hear this before I was calling them after switching my computer on.And the funny thing is that my pc is very new as almost 2 months old.I was very much frustrated at this point and I really shouted at the guy who attended the call and dropped the line


As I will be the only loser , I called them again and lodged a complaint.This time they closed it by


saying that the issue was solved as they reset the router.I reopend my last complaint on 17th of this month(sep 07).When I asked about the status today they said that they are trying to rectify the problem.I was very much fed with these answers and I have send a mail to the nodal officer, VSNL.


Now I have to keep my fingers crossed to get a response


Just now I got a response from the customer care again as I cced to them along with the nodal officer.(I really doubt that this is a virtual post  as I didnt get any reponse from him eventhough he is the next higher authority to take complaint after the customer care).See the response as below


"

*I like the last sentence.I will not end this story here.I will call them again if they dont solve it.



Finally after 20 days ie they solved the complaint.The tech support person who came to my house told me that its only a problem with the settings.He solved it in 5 mins.It started working .And surprisingly today morning I got a call from the customer care enquiring whether the problem has been solved.
