When I shifted to Magarpatta(in Pune) I have only two choices for Broadband, BSNL and second Tata-Indicom. Tata guys lured me with Free of cost installation and Broadband connection just in 1 day.
To get a better speed I choose limited Download plan.But Wooosh! Tata-Indicom Broadband with 2 Mbps connections never gives download speed of more than 200Kbs/300 Kbps. Every now and then there is no response from server and if I am downloading something then it breaks due to break in connection.
I spoke with the Tata-indicom and they tells me that in 2 Mbps I will get that only, if I need a higher speed I should go for Higher speed plan(like 4 Mbps). Then I consulted my colleague who is using Tata-indicom’s unlimited connection and he told me, the speed he gets is around 30-40 Kbps only, which reminds him of the Old days of Analog Modem.:-)
Seems Tata-indicom with its poor quality infrastructure can’t afford to provide a good speed. Never take it.
