I took a 256 kbps tata indicom broad band prepaid connection in Hyderabad. Initially it worked fine with few glitches. The connection was down since 24th may 06 and every day I waste atleast half an hour speaking to their customer service centre, but the connection could not be set right. The respose of the team is standard - that it will be set right as people are working on it. I have patiently waited for nearly 23 days for the connection to resume but I feel that they are not concerned about the service. My advice for anyone who is contemplating to take this connection is Don’t fall for them. It is a con scheme. They probably don’t have any infrastructure to give and maintain the connections. Once you pay the charges for a prepaid connection you are stuck and your money is lost forever. It is really pathetic to see the way they swindle the customers and get away with it. In U.S they would have been sent packing by this time. The worst part of it is they don’t give you any information about what is happening and when they will attend.
