I took a TATA-Indicom walky connection some around in the mid of june. while I was filling up the so called customer application, I was confirming about the Tarif Plans and the services, free services available on different tarif plan. That time, the person, who was sent by TATA-Indicom to fill up the form and to take all ther equired documents, told me all the free stuffs and the low cost services those will be provided. After taking the phone, I got shocked seeing my 1st month bill. I saw all the words told by the TATA-Indicom person, were diluted in air and the words are left for me to ring near by my ear. I spoke to the customer care, they said, I have to pay some extra fees to get avail of the services, those were promised. Then I considered the things and made the confirmation.
after few days, I thought to go for a Data Cable to get internet connection. I went to their office and asked for the cable, they said, they will make it available for me in a day or 2. I reached on the same day, as per their words. they asked to come in the after-noon. when I reached at the same time, they asked me to come in the evening. The same drama continued for a month and half. After that, I got a data cable, that cable didnt work for me. Again the same Sil Sila started. after having to and fro for 15 days, I got a cable, but still I was not able to connect to internet. I called up the customer care person. they said, they will send a person. but that was also in vain.
still my cable is lying with me and am using the TATA-Indicom phone. but, I was excluded from the internet connection.
i had thought, that only the govt organizations do like this, but the private organizations are also doing the same. The service is realy very bad in case of TATA Indicom.
