2) Latest: Validity Voucher

Plan features:
This card does not contains any talktime for Tata to other provider. Only valid for Tata to Tata calls. However, still the best price to keep your cell ringing for 15 days.
The company still lacks good, high end handsets. I have heard that they are coming up with latest Nokia and Samsung handsets sometime in next month
I bet that no other service provider have such a competitive plan. Best for those who want to TALK.
=========================
After reading several reviews (rather cries) I take this opportunity to review Tata Indicom TruePaid service.
1 Sec Pulse rate:
This so called ‘honest’ scheme is a prepaid service where call are charged as per one second pulse rate. You could make local (intra-circle) calls as low as 3 Paisa per second. I have verified it and found that you can send important messages as low as 60 – 80 ps. Per call. Yes, I have experienced that 20 – 30 secs are enough to convey the message and that’s where Indicom TruePaid scores big.
STD calls (to any phone, anywhere in India) can be made 5 Paisa per second. For short duration calls I found it very useful.
ISD calls can be made for 10 Paisa per second which is definitely not very pocket friendly.
SMS anywhere in India costs 1 Rs. Per msg
(Right now they are offering unlimited free SMS)
Maximum Talkltime on RC Voucher
For Rs.330/- TruePaid recharge voucher you get unbelievable talktime of Rs.300/- with validity of 30 days. Grace period is 15 days, which means you can receive the calls for 15 days after the expiration of 30 days.
Handset Options
Tata Indicom suffers in offering handset options comparing to reliance. In basic category they offering Motorola C131 for Rs.1700 and Nokia 2280 for Rs.2400. Tata TP also offer Brew Enabled color Kyocera and Nokia handsets within Rs.4000.
The best deal is LG AD 5235 (which I own), which is BREW enabled handset where you can log in to Yahoo and MSN Messenger and can also check news, stocks, net etc. free of cost. One can log into TataZone and purchase applications such as games, ringtones, images etc. Currently this is service is also offered free on promotional basis. This handset is offered for negligible price Rs.5200 which is nothing compared to quality and handset design. The same type of handset for Reliance is being offered for around 10, 000.
Network
I always travel 400 Kms, from rural Maharashtra to Mumbai and believe me this is the best network coverage I have seen. Previously I have used Idea, Airtel and BSNL but I found WLL services best for clarity and coverage. The phone does not lose the signals even in the 900 meters long tunnel of Mumbai – Pune Expressway. A single bar signal is enough receive and make the calls.
Conclusion
Being a prepaid service there is no need to face billing problems. II found it a excellent service offered for reasonable price. Truly honest on your pocket!
