Tata, the name was not the only reason I went for a CDMA Fixed connection (not supposed to be carried around), I had a friend of mine working with them....


But it has turned out to be worse than the BSNL in terms of service.


The biggest issue is the billing...


They do not have a fixed day for billing. You can get two bills in one month. ..and you can get it after two months too..


The bill says we need to pay the bill with in the stipulated date. But what if the bill does not come before that date/or if it comes a couple of days before that. Also the bill says if you do not make payment you will be given an intimation of disconnect 15 days before the actual disconnection happens. ...


In my case I did not get a bill for the month of April. I got a call from their call centre by the end of May asking why I have not paid. when I told that I have not recieved the bill they told they will send another copy. It never came. For the next two week this repeated twice.. Can you believe it..THREE Calls and still no bill.. and one fine morning without any notice or bill..my phone get disconnected..After three days I got the combined bill. The phone connection was restored after 1 week. Inspite of the plea to check my payment history, and the lack of bill to pay..nothing worked.


The connection in terms of clarity & signal does not have any issue. I have not tried their internet connectivity.
