As said the only plus point is that I could carry it anywhere, even worked in Srinagar.
Now the service quality is poor, signal is intermittent and it just breaks in between when you are downloading something. dont expect that when I am paying rs 1350 per month for 10Gb download.
The worst part is their customer service. Be it contact center or their photon outlet, employees are unaware of their product and hardly eager to understand customers point of view.
They have their own notion about the problems faced by us and will provide solutions accordingly.
Will share a scenario when due to some reasons I failed to pay the rental for two consecutive months. The follow up team is the most rude I have ever come across.
They literally threaten you to pay up as if we are gonna run away with their money. If you are in a meeting and ask them to call later they start screaming to make their voice heard, if you disconnect they call back and call back again until you get frustrated. Many more such reasons why I decided to quit.
when I placed my request through the contact center to discontinue the service, they redirected me to the store, when I met the guy at the store he asked me to call the customer center.
Its going round and round, frustrated again dont even cooperate to get things right, god knows what they are paid for.
Worst experience with photon, never expected this from a brand like Tata. Switched to Hathway now, faster and much cheaper with better bandwidth and service.
Never recommend Photon to anyone..
