I tried 2 times to renew my prepaid connection using the Tata indicom website. Both times the transaction was unsuccessful. I did not get order number, pin nothing. But to my surprise my credit card was billed. Then I called them up and they renewed my connection. But my credit card has been billed twice. I have been trying to get them to reverse the extra charge for the past 3 weeks. I have made 4 complaints, but to no avail. The call center people keep repeating the same thing that someone will get in touch with you. No ones contacts. I really dont know how to get my money back.
I have even written to customer service. No response.
Tata indicom service is ok, but when you have a problem like the above it does not get resolved at all. The call center guys either dont understand it or they have very poor tracking of issues. I dont think anybody really looks at customer compliants that are open beyond the conveyed time to resolution.
So please beware when you renew your account on the internet.
