I am from Chennai. Earlier I have written review about this useless service provider - Tata Indicom. I was original Dishnet customer since 2001. I am a 62 years old retired Engineer. I could not bear the tension that Tata was giving me. Finally I made a wise decision of deactivate my account. This simple process also they are unable to do for the past 7 days. Every time I call them I hear the same old story that they are upgrading the system and the bills are not ready. The bill is still not prepared for the past two and a half months. Almost everyday I get a call from their office asking me whether mine is disconnected. They dont know that even. When my reply was negative, they say that they are disconnecting my conection immediately. But I see the same donkey in my in-box. I t is a real shame to Tata group. I find most of the officers who answer us are idiots. They dont know even what is happening. They will say that their system is not working and they are unable to do anything.
Finally after reading all the reviews I have gone for Airtel broadband. I say they are really proffessionals. The wiring is superb - all through pipes right from their server to our computer unlike Tatas..wire hanging all over - even on roads. I had 512kbps with Tata...but when I check with ADSL meters it is only 300kbps. Now with airtel I have 256kbps, it is always above it. Surfing is really fast. Please readers, dont go for Tata Indicom, they will suck your patitience and you will be in tension praying God not to have failure.
