Tata Indicom WiMax Internet service is horrible, to say the least, I took their service connection on 11 June’2009 and after One Month of experience I can safely say that Tata Indicom people are technically Duds and cannot extend trouble-free continuous wireless internet service to the clients.
Frequent breakdown at their Base Station is the major culprit. Rain or Thundershowers play havoc with their system n services and if someone like me depends on their service, he/she is doomed. Falut repair may take 24hrs to 72hrs and in this age of Internet, you cannot afford to remain inconnected for such a long period. Tata Wimax staff is ill-trained and worst part is they are not available to resolve the issues on Sunday or holiday. Before opting for TataWiMax, I suggest you check the quality of their internet service with users in your vicinity. The major problem is at their Base Stations / Towers and hence if a particular Base Station is faulty, Tata Indicom people are unable to rectify the fault for ages. Thanks.
