Indigo XL is a feature packed car(like none other in this class), value-for-money with an excellent petrol engine. I own this car since the last 8 months, I did a 3500km trip of south India over 8 days, driving all the way myself and with no fatigue or cramps what-so-ever, the seating and comformt levels in this car is simply awesome, With massive legroom for the passengers at the rear. The Petrol engine is refined and has loads of grunt at higher rpm’s. Returns a respectable mileage of 15-16km/ltr on higway and a decent 13-14km/ltr in city with A/C.
Though I had many options when I was looking for a good car, most friends and family were’nt too happy with my idea of going in for a TATA Indigo, but most never knew the vehicle well enough and had a third party perception.
As on date I have clocked over 15000kms and am very happy with my decision of buying the Indigo XL Petrol.(.and so is my family)
Anyone looking for a car in he 6-8lacs range must check out this vehicle before deciding. Not disputing the fact that there are better vehicles available in the mkt today, it depends on your budget and personal requirement.
