Save yourself from Manza

Don’d be fooled by the TATA brand or be foolish enough to buy a TATA manza.

I made the mistake of opting to buy a TATA Manza 3 years back and made the mistake of not opting out when I had the chance earlier.

The car first broke down in the middle of Bangalore when it had run exactly 1000 kms- soon after the first service and there was a series of apologies and blah blah. The care broke down again at 9000 Kms in the middle of the night at Coorg and we again got the same apologies and same excuses. I did not have the good sense then to ask for a refund or file a case in the consumer court( a cousin of mine did for the same car- his new car broke down) and he got a full refund from TATA,

I kept having problems with the Brake, Clutch and mileage- all critical components as well as with the overall performance of the car. In fact when I wanted to exchange this manza for an  ARIA one of the mechanics at the service station( who I got to know well over the last couple of years) told me not to be stupid and go for some other company Car:)

The car broke down in the middle of Bangalore on Saturday night and

1) TATA did not send the 24 hours 7 days a week help within 60 minutes as promised- in fact it was not sent even in 180 minutes as the call center guy informed me that he could not find a mechanic on Saturday evening! I called RESCUE 24 7 which is a private company and  they got to me in 25 minutes flat! AND TATA is supposed to be this BIG AND WELL ORGANIZED company!

2) Since last week I have been running around to find help from TATA: trust me no one cares. Once you buy the car you are a BAKRA- all the tata employees are probably laughing at you for being foolish enough to buy a TATA MANZA and are laughing so HARD that they will not find the time to help you out

3) No replacement car provided by the company as they don’d care and by the way it seems the entire engine support system has fallen apart!

My previous car was a Mitsubishi LANCER- that for 11 years and 300, 000+ kms gave me no major trouble and was a dream

TATA MANZA is a nightmare- Buy it only if you like real life HORRORS

recommendation:** do not touch TATA MANZA with a barge pole unless you want to get hit .and badly
