I am a patient of this hospital and I have personally gone through the treatment and facilities provided by the hospital.
This hospital is one of the biggest cancer treatment hospital of INDIA its really a very big and good build up the hospital. The hospital building are divided up in three wings Homi Bhabha, golden jubilee and main building
Homi Bhabha is the private sector of this hospital and let me tell you the service of private sector are very fast and even very comfortable but if you are a general category patient you have to wait for a long time to be treated by doctors it takes weeks to months to just consult properly with your doctors in O.P.D if you are general category patient as there is a big rush of peoples in general category as tata memorial hospital treats poor peoples at very fewer charges and it is done with help of government.
The staff of the private sector of the hospital is very helpful and cooperative and have a very positive attitude towards patients.
whether as for general category patients the staff of general category is not at all cooperative and they don’t even communicate with the patients in a positive way. this may be because of the heavy rush of peoples in the general category and due to handling so many peoples at the same time it is obviously difficult for general sector staff.
Fees and charges of the private sector of this hospital are 10 times higher than that of the general sector. But the team of doctors is same in both the sectors of private and general category patients. The surgeons of this hospitals are excellent. And this hospital even has robotic operation services which are very of modern technology.
For me this hospital is like a temple for cancer patients.
