Television has become one essential part of our family, while there are many ways that you can gain knowledge and information, I am not a TV person. I was surprised to see that TRAI implemented a subscription-based model for every channel which eventually made people move from a local cable operator to DTH connection assuming to get the best value for money. But, I was wrong.
While I was figuring out how do I move on from the local cable operator my cousin who was a customer of so-called Big Giant in the DTH industry called TataSky was recommended to me.
After a lot of research online and checking a lot of reviews I decided to buzz them to book a connection. The website says that I need to call a number and give them a missed call that an executive will call me to book a connection and that never happened.
This is what has happened.
I called the number on Mar 27th, 2019 for the third time and it disconnected immediately right after I dialed. after 15 mins I received a confirmation message that I will be called back to take up the connection booking which never happened.
I waited 15 days after this incident and called the same number again, This time I got a message immediately yet no one contacted me and took the booking again I waited for a week. nothing happened.
This time I want to be a little smart. I called from my cousins number who already have a TataSky Connection and got connected to an agent who was not at all helpful(possible he was eating something.lol) All he did was transferred me to a booking department and I was on hold for 37mins 23 sec(SERIOUSLY I COUNTED THAT). worst I was again told I will be called back and that didnt happen. Now I am in June writing this review still no connection booking was taken. I was wondering how the service level would be for someone who has no idea about TataSky. I havent explored other providers but I got a gut feeling that they are going to be the same.
My suggestion to them is to either have a minimal customer and take booking only through referrals when they cant handle the Inbound lead I feel that they are totally incapable of running a business.
I really dont want to give them 1 star but thats the least I can give them, My intention was not to write a negative review but just want to warn you guys that you may or may not expect a good service from TataSky.
I was really surprised such a brand intentionally degrading their value. If you have read till the end congrats you are saved from Nightmare.
