Tatasky problems

I have been a tatasky subscriber ever since it was launched. Of late, the service is really deteriorating.

  1. Their helpline is a big joke ( like all call centres are). Mind you, their call centre is not a toll-frree number. The moment the phone connects, you have to wait for ages to get a real human voice to speak to you. In all probability you will waste a good amount of your time and money on listening to their advertisement.

  2. Packages are randomly changed and in the name of cheaper package they are really robbing us. The company may have its economic reasons (after all Tatsky is an enterprise and not a alms house). But why not be honest about it? Why do they try to hoodwink us?

  3. There is, then, what is called digital finger-printing. Once in a while a number appears on you screen. The thing is the technical fools at Tatasky do not seem to have any discretion. Could not the number appear discretely at some corner? No. it has to stick in the middle of the screen, irritatingly blocking your view.

  4. The people who receive our calls appear to be a little arrogant, assuming automatically, that as a consumer you a are dunce and know next to nothing. Calls made in Karnataka are picked up by personnel who are supposed to speak in Kannada. Their accent is downright insulting and funny.

Will someone take notice of all this?
