I am a tata-sky customer from the past 3 years. Lately i bought the tatasky hd which was replaced with my old box. The problem is not the replacement - the problem is there are so many channels which we do not watch and tatasky has advertised so many places that you can choose your own channels. I have been trying to change this from september 2012. I tried all the possible phone numbers (helpline) of tatasky and spoke to so many staff who dont really know what is going on or how to link with the previous problem of a customer - they do not know how to get to the previous reference number also.
I think all these months i have been talking to more than 30 different people on helpline and made around 150 calls. But my monthly charges remain the same rs. 510. Each time the helpline people explain me the steps, i faithfully follow it, but the next time again i am asked for the same amount and the unwanted channels have not been removed. Nobody at tatasky has been able to help me with this for all these months.
now read this very carefully - my monthly payment was due yesterday and the tatasky got disconnected. Today i received a call from tatasky office +914067284730 reminding me about my payment and also he offered me one thing - he said that because ramzan is starting, muslims would like to see islamic channels at this period of month, do i want only islamic channels.
I was really surprised at this, not because of the offer, but of their excellent record keeping which showed that i should be contacted for this offer and it was so obvious that they have an excellent database to follow customers and their religions. But what about the customers who are facing other trouble? I asked the operator that your database told you to call me about my payment reminder and my islamic channels, but doesnt it say that this customer has been asking for changes to his channels and being charged a huge amount because of unwanted channels? No answer!
for payments they are very conscious and promptly ask customers but they do not know how to deal with customers who want to change to a lower package - is it because of money . . .?
Their database is excellent to follow customers. Cant they also call customers who have made 100s of attempts to change the channels - cant they? Or they dont want to - do they ignore customers who are going to fetch them less money?
i am really shocked - tatasky! What is wrong? - dont blame your customer service - they are following the dues of customers excellently but not their troubles. Even after all these months and after todays letter i want to see what is the reaction from tatasky. Tatasky ... Are you going to solve my problem or continue to be ignorant and extract extra money from me as long as you can? Or waiting for another customer to suffer and suffer ... But, on second thoughts ... Will this change you and your customer service?
