Unprofessional Customer Service

We installed Tata Sky in Nov 2006 and in less than one month suddenly the setop box stopped recieving signal for no apparent reason.


We’ve had pathetic experience with Tata Sky on the customer service front. God forbid if one day you suddenly don’t get any signal. There service turnaround time is agonizingly slow. You’re expected to be in a tv blackout for 2 days becz they dont even come down and look into the cause of the problem. On the promised 3rd day if at all they come to diagnose the issue, there is no certainty on when it would be fixed.


Customer Service not helpful and there is no contact no for escalating a problem.


One: we did not expect something of this nature so soon after we bought the service


Two: the customer service people are totally incapable of solving the issue.


I think consumers like us have no choice but to accept this kind of unproffesional after sales service level.
