1) Pathetic customer service: I lost signal, so I called up Tata Sky. They kept closing the request themselves for 3 days. I had to call them to re initiate the request.
After all this, finally, a technician called to ask for address but never turned up. I got an SMS that your request is completed and Rs 150/- got deducted from my account. They have a truly automated system which keeps cancelling the requests , reschedules work orders, marks requests as completed and deducts the money without asking the customer.
2) Delay in speaking to customer service : They throw up ads at you when you call their customer service desk
3) Annoying messages occupy your TV screen space most of the time. There is no option to avoid these messages.
4) Costly: You end up shelling out around 450/- per month and still feel that some channels are missing.
