My Tata Sky ac no is 1021574551, requested for re-connection with changing set top box with MPEG4 in third week of this month, customer care executive advised to recharge the account your box may support other wise Tata Sky will replace the box for free, which I done on 22/11/13.
Even after the recharge the connection was not restored. Again chased the customer care for two days finally revealed that the set top box will not support for South Indian channels and granted (work order no 1-24489212321) to replace the box free (with one month warranty and dirty box is very old and switching on very late) and sent the box and fixed to my TV that is working for only for their advertisements channel 100 and 101 non other than.
The idiot who installed the box told, thats he will activate the box with in 30 minutes, we have waited and kept switched on all system whole night but he did not. I have given many mails to customer support for help, did nothing each time giving new ticket by automated system (this is very expensive like ISD because this premium call rated, rooted with IVRS we have to hear their all advertisements then only it allows you to speak with customer care)
On 27-11-13 made three calls (costing more than ten a call each) then only activated my connection. Immediate after activating all my money is gone, asking immediate payment for one year service warranty?(when I do not require this service).
Luckily I have not recharged the account other wise this is loss in addition to recharge amount. with my experience Tata is also fraud company in thirst of money the Tata Sky idiots are fraud. I do not recommend any one.

Every painful customers reviews are actively followed by Tata Sky staff for posting+ve comments, because they gain benefit% of money by looting customers by fraud means. Pl avoid these comments.
Tata Sky not only loots monthly subscription for TV but also phone balance amount which is equal or more amount of monthly subscription, if you have any issue.
