Reclaim Your Life...(Add More Pain in your LIFE !)

Tata Safari is my second car, (I own a Santro from last 3 years). My Black Safari is 1 year old and completed 8000 Kms. I own a fully loaded Dicor with DVD player, Dual A/c Etc Etc.

It was a fantastic drive one early morning with my two family members on Mumbai-Pune expressway, around 8 am in the morning with our 3 month old and 2000 kms completed Safari Dicor.

While climbing few fly-overs, I noticed my clutch slipping. I was thinking it must be some small problem and carried on driving. Just after mere 20-25 kms more, the time came when the clutch slipped so much that I had to nearly step on the gas as much as 3/4, but the big monster wont move to desired speed. Problem got worse with every Km.

We reached a point where traffic was jammed and e had to idle the car. While drifting ahead slowly, to my horror a point came when the car wouldnt move even after releasing the clutch fully. Thats it.Stranded in middle of nowhere with boot full of picnic stuff and food. Had to call towing van, day was wasted, took arnd 3000 Rs to tow to Wasan Motors in Chembur.

The clutch was repaired without any cost and got the vehicle after 15 Days.Second Clutch slipped after another 2500 Kms, this time I was cleaver and did not get stuck anywhere, took it to service station as soon as felt it slipping. Third Time (YES THIRD TIME) Just now when it completed 8000 KMS. Again had to tow from middle of Easter Express Highway wich costed me 1500 and RS 18000 for a new clutch plate. Total repairing cost 24000.

I own a Santro and owned Zen before it, and yes I know how to drive as none of these cars clutch was ever blown off. (Just if your thinking that I may be not driving properly). That was my experience, rest is your call weather to get hooked in all this mess and get your bheja fried and money dried.Dont see the fancy adverts, brochures, friendly test drives. Think about your future and RECLAIM YOUR LIFE by staying away from TATA SAFARI. (Just an advice in case you are looking for one).. Cheers !
