I am using airtel digital for past 3+ years. All this long, I believed that I am paying premium for good quality and service.
I have been required to call customer service twice, once 2.5 yrs back for relocation and 2nd now for poor picture quality. Each time i interacted with their help desk, it was nightmarish experience.
They do not know how to speak to a customer who is explaining the problem and start talking about their systems.
Their language option on IVR has no meaning as agent would simply switch to Hindi after initial greetings
They would resist logging complaint to resolve the issue, instead ask senseless questions as are you willing to pay for the resolution. Crap. The stb is airtel property and not owned by consumer, satellite location is controlled by airtel itself. If the issue is with cabling in the premise, they can ask for money but not for technical issues in dish alignment or with technical problem with stb. Why do I care for airtels internal processes which agents keep beating while talking senselessly during the complaint registering.
Agent cannot take request for engineer visit 4 days hence in spite of telling that i am not reachable and available for next 4 days due to my abroad travel plans. Will give ridiculous suggestion like "why did you call now if you are not available, you can call form some other number if you are not reachable!!!" that too as if he is my long time friend and not mere a service provider.
They will make you lodge many a complaints and resolve them on their own without bothering about you and your actual issue
Agent has guts to slam the phone on you while during conversation
I am switching to t sky once i am back in town.
You can stay away from these horrible people, if you still havent subscribed already.
