I got a call around 10 days back giving me various offers on upgrading normal Tata Sky connection to a HD - the offers were good and I chose to go for one which seemed most cost effective for me. The series after that has been a complete nightmare.
First, they raised a work order and informed me thru SMS that an engineer would drop in on 15th. Nothing happened. Then I got a SMS again on 16th that the installation has been fixed on 17th - than one more on 18th that it is fixed on 19th.
When nobody turned up or called, I phoned their customer care number. The customer care was clueless about what was happening and directed me to priority customer service contact. They took down my number and said somebody would get in touch with me within 24 hours.
True enough, I got a call from an executive who confirmed an engineer would come and do the installation same day. Neither the engineer turned up nor I got a call from him till date. The next time I call their customer care, they have no idea what the status and again the response is - "Somebody will get in touch with you within 24 hours".
I am not sure what is Tata Skys standards of 24 hours. Am planning to disconnect and switch over to an other service provider. Can somebody suggest one which is providing good service in Bangalore?
