I was looking for a second dth connection, and since I am using dish tv, I thought let me try tata sky. SO I found a dealer near my locality and visited him for a demo and pricing options. His name was Mr. Chavan and he was so warm in greeting me. He showed complete functionality of the product.. Since I am a dish tv user I could grasp easily what he had to say. He showed me all the active channels (they call it actve and not active), which are specially made for all age groups. Once the tata sky demo was shown, he told me that new tata sky plus has been launched and explained me how the pause, rewind and record functions are to be used.
At the same time, he was also polite in handling other customers as well. He explained me the benefits of going ahead with tata sky vs the other dth players. Being a dish tv user, I found tata sky much better. No doubt it has to be better than big tv as dish tv is better than big tv. My experience with Mr. Chavan was definitely good and the way in which I gave me the demo, I was impressed with tata sky as well. Yes could be his selling skills which impressed me but that is what is required to make the product successful.
From what I have seen, tata sky in my opinion should be better than dish tv. although I need to use it to make this comment firmly.
