Finally the happy times for people in Tamilnadu(we got sun tv channels(the local giant) in tatasky finally.we got alerts in tatasky saying please call the customer service.Unfortunately a Hyderabad number yes it is for a big metro city like Chennai tatasky does not have local call centers!(you have to shell out std charges to get great customer service)
There is no contingency planned when they announced availability of sun TV channels and new package offerings. I had to wait for about 30 min before I could get the customer service(once I am in after selecting 1 for English 1 for existing blah blah.finally starting hearing the tatasky propaganda for 1 million times but still no customer service rep took the call.finally I was forced to disconnect after I got pain in both hands;-(
When tatasky is celebrating its 1 million customer mark, its really sad we don’t have a local call center for a big city like chennai also there was no contingency planned for this great time.since people who made mistake by buying tatasky were waiting for more than a year in expectation of sun TV channels and all of sudden when everybody calls the call center for sun channel and new packages no body gets the connection
As per tatasky "24*7 customer care service beyond compare" - yes it is!
