Well before you read thsi Further let me tell you I am about to tell you firsthand only of DISHTV and not Tatasky. I am extremely disappointed by DishTV and its quality of services.
Firstly, the **installation **has not been upto the mark from day 1 and since then the quality of signals has been consistenly poor. I have reported this 3 times to the staff but they are unable to do anything on this subject. One engineer blames the other and says its beyond his capacity. They keep struggling with it and finally do a half hearted job and go, leaving me with only Distaste.
The **channels display poor quality** with no audio and video erratically , to pixelation and disturbance at night, then followed by no signals. This **gets worse** after rain or when the wind blows.
The **customer care IVR is pathetic** and not user friendly. The **staff in customer care is worse** than the IVR system itself. They dont understand English very well, talk with a very arrogant accent, and when asked to talk to a Sr. they place a person on hold and then after 5-10 minutes disconnect the phone itself.
Your website has **no way to escalate a complain and reach a Sr person** who can actually resolve the issue.
I have made 5 complains since Aug 20th via SMS, Email and call to customer care and yet **not a single person has really attempted to address the issue till date**. There was just one call asking us to meddle with the STB box and then it was promised that the engineer will come over to resolve the problem but its now a week and no one has come. The Promise every time has been customer resolution in 24 - 48 Hrs. Do you ever monitor the variances of such tall claims?
Frankly I need a refund for the subscription. Please dont be surprized why people prefer Tatasky over DISHTV, as nothing is actually right with your folks or the system. Imagine so many failure points.
on the Contrary at my parents place TataSky works like a wonder and they never seem to have any issue.
