As the tatasky subscriber, I would like to share my following experience:- ( Don’t take my details as I give, please have a demo with your relative or spend few hours with an existing subscriber before you make your next move)
1.I have used my bsnl number to call both tatasky and dishtv. ( I recommend every one to do the same, as there is no need to go any where to make a purchase. One call will ensure everything at your door steps.)
2.Perfectly prompt service of Tatasky technician has installed the dish and collected the charges at home and the receipts for the same were given to me.
3.That is it, from there on I have uninterrupted viewing of all the channels at the promised quality, sound picture etc.
4.Tata has tied up with sky, which is a UK based company, and any uk based company will never compromise as they are all ready governed by Euro Quality standards and other factors. ( Even this factor is evident in several other uk companies which you will be aware of, had used any other product from uk)
5.There are so many user friendly features that are hard to elaborate here, in short I personally feel that I have a missed so many years of quality viewing.
6.I have multiple homes in different cities and although I had a home in the metro there was no cable there as the surroundings of my home was a slum area and so on....I even offered to pay for the cable and booster charges till thir area where the cable operator had the reach or laid the cables. yet the local cable operator could not help me out .Tata sky was my perfect solution to the problem and besides I can recharge only for the months that I stay there unlike the cable tv where in I should pay all through the year.
7.You need not have a picture in picture facilitated tv, if you have tata sky you can view four channels at time. ( There are so many features as I already told which are hard to elaborate now)
8.My native is a rural district and I have erratic viewing due to power and other break downs . Although I have UPS and generator facility I couldn’t view seamlessly as the booster placed else where by the local cable operator , does not have power in it. After I have installed Tata sky, trust me I never had a single break down of viewing. Apart from the viewing wooes, only few channels that we watch regularly is ensured of some clarity and even that is interrupted by his unwated advertisements which are displayed as the ticker on the screens especially when our favourite movie is aired .
9.The greater your current problems with the local cable operator, the higher the satisfaction levels you will find with Tata sky. And when it comes to the clarity 100% of all the channels ( I repeat and stress this again, that 100%) are crystal clear. Once you watch channels on tata sky, you will never even look back to your regular cable operator. Cable operators can never match Tata sky service for one obvious reason that you can never have control on the cable laid by the cable operator, which has to reach your home from many streets.
- Yes you will not be able to view your local city channel on tatasky, but with the benefits I have gained from tata sky are so high that I can forgo a lot more other then a local channel. And another important fact is that if you really have no problems and if you have the same and above mentioned features from and with your existing cable operator then you can stick on to your cable operator.
